hen your ship comes in - Eastport House is the place to lay your head. Less
than a block from water's edge, at the corner of First Street and Severn Avenue
is Annapolis' only historic B&B located in the maritime district. Built in the
1860's, this home has a colorful history as a farmhouse, schoolhouse, and now
as a guest house. Recent renovations have restored many charming features of
the past as well as adding the comfortable amenities of today's lifestyle.
Safety and comfort features include central heat and air conditioning, a full
fire sprinkler system, and smoke detectors. Your hostess is Susan Denis.
Our guest rooms celebrate Maryland's rich shoreline features and the maritime
industry that has responded to the alluring challenge of the Chesapeake Bay.
These fresh air themes create a casual, relaxing environment for our guests to
launch their recreational respites or to tackle their business endeavors. Each
room has television.
Bicycles are available for guest use when
activity is fancied. Chairs on the wrap around porch are available when guests
are less actively inclined. Street parking is amply available.
Eastport House is just 28 miles from Baltimore, 32 miles from D.C., and
a short walk to downtown Annapolis where history and shopping reign.
